A little bit! Jumping up to the 34's made the tubbing a little more difficult. But nothing a sledge couldn't handle.

    Update:

Heading to Glamis tomorrow. Got some whips mounted up, Co2 tank mounted up, new gas can, moved the RTT back, painted the bumper black and mounted up a hitch, and retorqued everything. Also got the whip wired up.

I've been thinking about painting my hood a flat/matte black to get rid of the sun-baked paint. What do you guys think?

Also added a third brake light. Sam was saying my brake lights aren't very bright.

    Brake lights:

We think it was a pretty good upgrade to ensure I can't be at fault. Looking to upgrade my running/brake lights to LED as well.

That looks nice! I like how you did it too with it not being the entire hood...

    Also, bumper is looking nice!

Yeah, I had it done in a wrap so if I ever drag a branch or something on it, it can be redone easily. I like that it cut down on glare too! Plus it covers some body work I had to do :/... Figured it would be a good idea starter for you. Soon we can both have rtt's and similar trucks. Haha

The glare and covering up the paint is what I'm stoked about. Haha. Don't know if I'm sold on the look, but I definitely need it.

So it's been a while guys! School has been stupid hectic this semester and haven't had too much time to update. Did a bit of off roading and camping since the last update.

    Bulldog canyon run:

    Elvis:
I don't have to many photos as I had my action camera and I blew a brake line.

    3687.jpg

And finally, said broken brake line:
    3683.jpg

It happened at the second obstacle when I was stuffed and full lock passenger. At the time I thought it was just because my old brake lines as I could see some of the brake line coming apart. On my most recent trip I found out I actually hit the shock and full bump and lock either way. Working on a solution and kind of hoping new brakes when I do the TBU help with this.

The first camping trip was local to us. We did some searching for an hour and ended up here, close to Apache lake.

This is from camping about 2 weeks ago now.

I actually started to bend my bedside here.

This trip I ended up breaking my driver brake line again and that's when I found I hit the coilover.

Trucks looking good as always! I might be a bit biased...

When you guys went out by apache lake did you just take a turn off of the main road that goes by apache?

    Thanks!

We were actually by the damn between Apache and canyon. There's a road that gets close to the dn, but the rest of the road is government use only by the damn. So we checked around there, found that spot and camped.

I had this same problem with a set of Fabtech Coilovers on my 2000 Xtra Cab... after going through 2 banjo bolts the only solution I found after checking with Fabtech and 4wheelparts was to get different coilovers! Kinda shitty but I like the Bilsteins way better.

Ya I've diagnosed as the coilovers are the problem. These are older ones from fox and they've changed the design to accommodate that. Fortunately I can still dd and not worry about it. It's only close to stuff the fitting and coilovers make contact.
