Figure out what exactly is on your truck that was a result of the Toyota Racing Development program, then decide about the badging.

De-badged almost everything but couldn't make up my mind about the TRD OR decal, so went with the OEM blinker option. Best of both worlds!

Man I am so happy I started this thread! So many great posts. I think for now I am keeping it as is (Truck only has 300 miles on it so far) I do tend to go for the "less is more" look, but stock looking is probably where I'll stay for a while.

Personally i put those badges on, i pulled the stock ones off to de chrome, put those ones on because i thought they looked neat and were rare at the time, within 2 years the clearcoat on them completely peeled off and they faded pretty quickly. i yanked them and now just have a clean door. now opinion on waiting, paint fades and the longer a badge is on your car the darker the shadow will be when you pull it off.

I'm in favor of (nearly) nekkid. I removed the side stickers, and the extra-paid black that was on the tailgate. But for some reason, I still like the Tacoma (black) on Luna's doors.

    I also de-badged my Sonoma, and the wife's 3, X3, and Highlander.

For me, nekkid makes polishing and sealing paint so much easier. And it's so much smoooother to run a continuous panel with your bare hand and. . . . BRB
