A stupid question....

What are those green dots under my name on the left hand side of the screen?

There are like ten of them. Some are litten up and some aren't. Some people have ten, others have two, and some have none at all.

What are they? What do they mean?

 

The dumber you are the more dots you get. It only shows ten, but you can go to the members list and order it by "reputation" and it will show you who has the most.

It's reputation. posts that people like give you rep points, the more you get the more dots you have...to a certain extent.

How does it determine if people like your posts? Is there a "like" button? And no I am not playing dumb... I'm actually confused.

 

bottom left corner of every post. theres the silverish icon (scale) move the mouse over it and it will say add to so and so's reputation

I'll add to this 'stupid' question --- how do you insert photos and such under your signature?

for future reference, talk about reputation is a bannable offense on the site because of solicitations for rep and whatnot
