    Did you check the catalytic converter? The shield that it is encased in? I have had to put gasket stuff on mine a few times....

    how long does that take to cool off so it can be touched safely? I already got burnt a little feeling for an oil leak behind the valve covers :anonymous: on the engine i just shut off

    Haven't. That rattle sound I have seems to be coming from the engine bay/firewall/passenger seat (under the truck) area.

    This was the turning point, when I got the EZ out drilled out. Snapped that pic & posted it right away.... Can't say it was all uphill from there, but I needed that victory. Next was the tapping which I had never done & one was a blind hole.
    Ha-ha! The way I'm "talkin", you'd think it was 20 years ago. Ahhhh.... the good ol' days.
