As mentioned VTX's parent company appears to be Varrostoen, who if you aren't familiar with have also been dubbed "Varr-stolen" by many on the great interwebs. Their main wheel replicas are from MAJOR JDM companies such as Volk/Works/SSR and such.

While real wheels from these companies typically cost $2600-3200, the Varrstoen versions can be had for usually around 1/3-1/2 of that price. Ok fair enough you offering a "cheaper" alternative to something that had high demand for. Is it right? No, it's still not right, but at the very least the consumer in this particular regard has a cheaper option. But remember you get what you pay for.

Stealth Custom Series offers wheels at a VERY reasonably amount for a set of 4 or 5 wheels. Not to mention the quality control each wheel goes through before being shipped out personally by Vin himself. While VTX wheels appear to be roughly at the same price point.

So the only individuals that benefit from this situation is VTX, as they are backed by a well known parent company and if anything get the spillover of people not willing to wait for SCS wheels or people that just don't know any better. And I doubt they hand check every wheel prior to it leaving the warehouse.

    /End long post
