Does the hockey puck lift cause you any problems?

That "hockey puck" just helps her push up what is naturally already there.

Has anyone seen a set up like this being run?

    1 x OME2885 Front Coil Springs
(OME2886 Heavy Load Springs when fitting bumper and/or winch)
    2 x 90000 Front Struts
    2 X CS047R Rear Leaf Springs
    2 x 60091 Rear Shocks
    1 x FK29 Driveshaft Spacer
    4 x U53A U Bolt Sets
4 x Toyota leaf spring bushings

Id really like to know how it runs...

I prefer to be able to revalve my own shocks, good luck with icon valving specs. Other than that its all color opinion and really no difference in high end shocks

Looks like I missed a party in my own thread during the drive home. It's a Dana 44 off my old ford. Will be plenty for my Tacoma. I could easily get a 60 of needed...

Id go fox if I had the money lol hockey puck doesn't cause any issues at all. Just not ideal for what I do. It was free so I used it.

And welcome to the madness to all. This is my build lmao :D

Okay haha I'd like to get some coilovers, 5100s or something but I'm working with a highschooler budget haha so I just wanted to make sure a hockey puck lift wasn't gonna cause any problems. I've just heard people claim it causes axle wrap or something :oldglory:

    Not much.
Did the bushwhackers give you more clearance near the cab? Nice looking rig so far, I like the blacked out look.

Camburg just seems to not a supplier network that you can easily find them. I mean fox and icon are good shocks I might be biased towards fox because they make shcoks for trucks and ATVs. But I guess I just haven't heard much on camburg or seen them in action.

^^ nothing wrong with that type of budget. I'd just be careful with the pucks. they aren't ideal for off road. they do make the ride not as smooth. And they are notorious for bending/braking struts after some time if you are doing anything crazy off road. especially super bumpy roads. thats how i ended up with mine for free. a friend broke his strut and upgraded to 5100's and gave me his pucks.

thank you! these flares actually arent the correct ones. So I have less clearance. they are for the 2005-11. I thought it was the same when I bout them but came to find that the flare line is different on the 2012's. I had to cut them in a few places to make clearance. the rears fit perfect though. The fronts have never fit right. They broke in the accident though so I will be getting new ones. They definitely lessened the rock damage though from my tires. much better looking then the stock mudflaps for sure.

true!! but then there is the thought of buying a 1st/2nd gen pickup and turning it full wheeler status... would be sweet hauling a sick wheeler with my tacoma. plus I miss having an old wheeler that I dont worry about dents and scratches with.. so half of me wants to save it for that possible project. IDK i have to make up my mind haha

Same, I'm more familiar with Fox so that is probably the route I'd end up going.

Thats how I feel. Fist gen 4runners are great. My dad ran 1 for almost 10 years its what I learned to wheel in. I have always been to expodition driven to let 1 be a crawler I always whant to build a camper out of them. They look so cool with a little pop up topper retro'd on them.

You know what keeps me amused on slow rainy days? Climbing in the gym. You guys really need a hobby besides masturbating all the time.

So yea… one hot girl on this forum and every guy loses their mind. It's cute really. But yea I'd tap that.
