Looks like you need a guy around that knows how to work on 90% of the shit that he comes across. guys like that only stay single if they want to be.

I consider my self one of those guys and im only single if i want to be though i only really go for girls that pull their weight.

All the local girls are like the guys "toyota sucks, (insert one of big 3 here) rules!". I just laugh and offer a ride when their truck is in the shop or pullin their boyfriends 4x4 out with my Prerunner haha

QUAD RUNS!!!! Got it going last night Caled one of my guy friends who knows quads really well and BAMM it runs on the trailer and ready to go. sad though, forgot how big the quad is so can only haul 2 bikes instead of the 4. other two are going on a diff truck.

seriously. that was the good things bout my ex. he could literally fix anything. I need to find a non crazy version of that haha

I picked up my harness from Uhaul and it is 7 pin round plus 5 pin flat. IIRC, it was $25, which is cheaper than any auto parts store could have gotten the same thing. 4 pin will plug onto the 5 pin without issue as well.

 

yup go the quad going last night. I have NO clue how he fixed it. I ran to the store real quick and when I came back it was running and he refused to tell me why or how hahaha

and Im proud to say I wired in my trailer plug in last time and it worked first try with no issues! Ive never wired anything before.... even though it was something super easy I was proud of myself lol

 

I paid uhaul to wiring in a brake controller and do the 7 pin setup on my truck from the 4 pin. That was a mistake. My mother in law took my truck in for me while I was at work on a Monday and she sat with the truck for 4+ hours while they were dicking around with it. I had their truck at the time and was working a couple miles away. I was charged for 2 hours of labor on it. I got home and only had running lights on the trailer, no brake, brake lights or turn signal. Took my truck in again after work on the Tuesday, they worked on it, got home, and all trailer lights were fuckered up. Took it in again Wednesday after work, they finally got things set up right for the lights and brakes. After looking into it more, they never wired in the last 2 pins for the 7 pin. Rather than bitch at them and waste my time having them do it, I ran my own lines for the aux power and reverse lights.

Moral, uhaul is only good for mechanical installation. Get the electrical parts from them and do the rest yourself.

As far as toy i ment toyota but yeah toys work too. Guys and Girls ask all the time why is it so hard to find a good man or woman. Well it's cus they are working and pulling their own weight.

Honestly just from what little has been said and what i have read i don't know how the fuck you are single and if i wasn't already taken id teach you how to fix your own shit.

 

dude Lighting electrical is the easiest shit in the world. I have to repair lighting on 18 wheelers all the time every single wire in those bastards is white

 

Thanks The Singleness is by choice... I think.. at least I tell myself that lol I try to fix my own things as much as possible but usually I can find someone to help me out when I need it.

 

I would probably cry. hahah the 7 wires was enough for me. I was surprised how easy it was to do...even with the manufactures using different colors... but all white.... ya no.

 

I do this for a living so it's what ever. I have to work on everything from lawn mowers to 18 wheelers also work on boats and all sorts of farm equipment too. Nothing like working on a 8 wheel swivel tractor. basically everything that has moving parts minuse airplanes..

 

oh well I guess it'd be different if it was your job lol for me, no way!!

 

I hate wiring. pain in the ass. but also a necessity. so i must live with it

 

I'm an electrician for a living. The wiring is not difficult on things as long as there are some labels. My issue was that I didn't have time to do it myself back then.
