I'm with ya on that, I've never been a Chevy fan. I'm sure I'll get lots of crap for buying one because I've always been more of a ford/dodge/yota girl. But when my truck got hit a few weeks ago and was in the shop getting body work I got to drive a new Chevy around and I loved it. I just have heard rly bad things about the new half ton dodges, and the new fords cant haul as much. Plus I really liked the way my rental drove. Never thought I'd say it but I really was impressed. I thought about a new 4runner, but I really need a truck for my lifestyle.

I would go with a GMC over the Chevy IMO. If I was to go diesel I would def go with the GMC.

Yeah, no diesel this round though :( Headed out tomorrow to get the new truck. Last day with the tacoma, its kinda sad! But I love the new truck. The interior is so nice!

Ill post pics once I pick it up tomorrow. The dealership is taking my tacoma with the pink and all. They are just going to remove it. Less work for me.

Im excited about the new truck but sad to get rid of the tacoma. I already got ideas on how to make this truck a pretty nice mall crawler though :)

Also been talking to a few friends about eh 1st gen runner. Will probably be happening after the baby is born in a few month. Looks like this thread will get taken over by non taco business!

I'm just going to speak how i feel right now... I liked the Tacoma better. But what do you expect me to say, honestly?

That being said, that is still a nice looking rig, and I would gladly drive one of those the day when I need a bigger truck. But believe me when that day comes I'll still have a yota in the garage.

Well they listed her. Cracks me up that they kept the "YOTA" on the front and the pink bolts. the picture they took makes her look terrible. And they listed her as a base model not SR5. (not that it makes a huge difference but there are some things that they left out like bluetooth) and shes not a short bed  Kinda funny, oh well someone will get a good deal. I think they are asking a pretty low price. I still bet they will sit on her for awhile.

Doesn't bother me though, they still gave me a great deal on the trade in and the new truck!

lol its pretty good considering it had been wrecked 2 times and had almost 70k miles on it. Here in WA they were offering me only 17k. So I took the 23k in ID. I was actually happy with what they gave me for it. They turned around and sold it for 26k a week later.
