A340 Paddle Shifters

    Corolla iM steering wheel installed this evening. Was an easy swap, all harnesses were the same and I had already adjusted the pins for the paddles on the clockspring column pinout earlier in the thread.

    The paddles on this wheel are admittedly in a much more natural position for your fingers. I think it looks a bit 'sportier' and still OEM with the toyota badge and silver accents. Took it out for a test, shifts just the same! Though in this pic, you can see I am in auto from the shining red 'A' on the righthand side of the photo.

    Love it, looks fantastic! How much smaller is the iM wheel compared to the stock one, if at all?

    Thanks! I like it too, and I think it was a good upgrade for how cheap it was. Again, didn't want to start with that option at the beginning because I wasnt sure the original project was ever going to actually work, but now it feels like the truck just came with that as a feature for the most part!

    The wheel doesn't feel too much smaller, maybe just an inch or so in diameter is I had to guess. But the actual part you grip is a more narrow section and more ergonomic to me!
