im looking for a set of valve body gaskets for the A43d in my 1997 Tacoma. Does anyone have a good source for these or maybe a part #? I’ve already ordered one set online and they were incorrect. I’ve also read where these gaskets weren’t really necessary, does anyone have an opinion on leaving them out?

Thanks for the reply, but I’m not able to find anything for an A43d on their site. I’ll give them a call tomorrow just to make sure.

I might be wrong, but would your truck not have an A340E?

The sticker in the door jamb shows an A43d. D93680C0-F0B7-4853-805F-39BF16053478.jpg

Maybe that’s why I’m having a hard time locating the correct gaskets, possibly an odd combination.

Interesting. Idk. I was thinking that the only transmissions in our gen trucks are A340, w59, and r150
