AAL install gone wrong...where did I screw up?

    I appreciate the praise! I actually am very mechanically inclined when it comes to things like this, but this is the first vehicle I've owned with leaf springs. I've built a 1965 Shelby Cobra in my garage, so I have pretty much any tool necessary. It's more the execution I need help with, but I'm confident in myself now after reading the responses in this thread. I never pay shops to do work for me except for tires.

    OK so I got a great offer from a friend who works as a tech at Rebel Off-Road in Lake Forest. They did the install, but only if they would let me watch so I learn how it's done. Turns out, they stripped the centering pin that came with the AAL, but had another bolt lying around that was long enough and fit. Install went great, I learned where my mistake was, and I'm very happy with the end result. Ended up lifting it 3" all around. Driver's side sits 3/4" lower due to Taco lean. Definitely no more Bro-lean. I dig the rake!
