Didn't mean that as an attack, thanks for all your input.

I'm curious as to how much those machines weigh. There are two in front of the axels and one behind?

White one is about 575lbs wet, the other two are about 525lbs wet. Two in front, one in the back.

I’m not sure how the numbers would work out. The axles are about centered on the deck so the back of the front two sleds are over the first axle and the second sled is over the rear axle and overhang. There were no problems with the weight distribution having adverse effects on the truck.

The trailer I normally tow is a steel framed single axle 8.5’x12’ vee nose with two or three ATVs or two sleds on it. That’s also loaded with the weight just above and forward of the axle and tows without problems. Moving the two ATVs further back causes the tongue weight to be too low and start to sway a bit at speed.

I see. Thanks for the great answer. Swaying is not good and I hear the voice of experience here.

Wheelers and Headstrong sell single (long) AAL’s that lift 1.5”. Wheelers is the “AAL22” and Headstrongs is a deaver 1.5-2.0 lift “TACOAAL”

Just do that and leave the overload in. Someday put in a full leaf pack

I’ve got Bilstein 5100s all around and AAL with overload in, stock springs.

Net gain 1” in front (150+ lbs slim bumper +winch) and 1.5” in rear (300lbs plate bumper + crap in bed).

Stock is 1” higher in rear so now I’m 1.5” more in rear, but goes to near level (maybe .5”-1”) when hauling or towing.

It’s a stiff ride but that’s what I want since I’m mostly on the street and it looks stock.

Have you got a pic of your setup? I’m thinking of adding the Ride-Rite’s to my truck that has a 2” AAL. Any issues with running the air bags with an AAL?

What AAL did you go with? Any concerns with the stock size 0-1" Bilstein 5100 in the rear with the AAL? I have seen so many mixed reviews on not going above the recommended 1" rear height with the 5100s for fear of blowing out a shock.

I have the 3 leaf AAL and left the overload in. Worked great for towing the boat and trailer. When I bought the bigger trailer it sat a little lower in the back when towing so I added Firestone airbags. Keep 5psi when I’m not towing and about 12psi when I tow the camper. Im 2.5 in front and the truck sits level.

should also mention I’m 2nd Gen
