I just installed my aal. I was wondering what the torque specs are as far as the three main bolts. The two bolts at the rear of the leaf pack and the one bolt at the front of the leaf pack. I feel like these three points should all be able to have a little play to give it a smoother ride.

    Any info would be appreciated.

all should be torqued down TIGHT.

    Loose ubolts=loose leafs
leafs literally hold the rear end of the truck up....and hold the truck to the axle

I tightened the ubolts down real good. I was talking about the bolts at either end of the leaf pack.
It seems to me that the whole leaf pack should be able to "float". I know loose bolts are no good. I guess I just thought it would be a smoother ride if the pack was aloud to move a little.

This is why I love this forum. I just started doing these kinds of mods myself and being able to ask the Tacoma world for feedback and input is invaluable to me.

    Thanks to all

ok, those ones you want to keep tighten reasonably tight, to tight and you could ruin the bushings and not allow the pack to flex.
