I have a 5 lug second gen (2005) access cab and was considering running just an AAL in the rear with no spacer lift up front? I looked through a ton of build photos on here but haven’t seen anyone doing this. My mechanic told me this would look insane lol but with I’m usually pretty loaded down in back with the camper shell and plywood sleeping platform in the rear, and I’m wondering if it might actually not look that bad.

was thinking about 225/75/15 tires to split the difference between stock and the 235s people usually run with the leveling kit/lift

Also, has anyone running the spacer lift in front had any problems with it putting premature wear on suspension/tires etc?

With old leaf springs it will come down over time anyway. If it was a new leaf pack paired with an extra leaf it will sit high. But it sounds like it works hard. So I say go for it.

Got a lot of stuff lol
I ran 235s without a lift and loved it. I have heard of people only doing the rear for campers and heavier loads. I'd say try it!
