Just received my headlights, along with the add-a-fuse harness, yesterday. They look sick! Will be installing them this weekend. Thanks @kustom54lighting

@joechef How did you secure the relays and the ballasts to the vehicle? did you screw them into the body or use Velcro or something? Also, did you choose the RX-350 projectors or stay with the stock ones?

I could clean up my setup a bit, although I just zip tied the ballasts/relays/loose wires right behind the lights.

Very bright and the cutoffs are effective. Can’t beat how these things look either.

I have not done any alternative wiring methods to enable that. They currently come on with the tail lights / fog lights setting. Kustom54 Lighting will eventually release a plug and play harness to enable that if one doesn’t want to do it themselves

I have their plug and play harness installed on my AB6 headlights, and it works great. DRLs come on when you turn the truck on, and you don't need to have the switch in the second position (side marker/running light function). The only downfall with the plug and play harness is that the hazard lights on the headlights themselves will not flash when the truck is off.

ohh ok. Has it been a problem with the hazard lights not working while its off? And did you get the plug and play harness from their website?

No, it's not a problem. It just makes it hard to tell if your hazards are on or not when you are looking from the front of the truck. But the side mirror lights will still flash when the hazards are on.

I don't think they are selling the harness yet. When I placed my order, I requested to have the lights wired using the harness instead of taping into the side marker light.

ok ill definitely do that. im still contemplating but I really like the look of it. I have a 2020 off road with the new updated headlights and I love the way the way it looks already but the AB6 looks so good and mean. did you add the RGB lights?? I'm debating if I want that as well.

I did not do the demon eyes because I didn't feel like the price was worth the amount of use I would get out of them. It is illegal to drive around with them on, and I don't take my truck to shows or events, so I felt that it was pointless for me to get them. Just my opinion. They do look badass if you actually use them though.

yeahh thats kind of true. I really dig the RGB but you made a good point, u get no use out of it. That part still turns on though right? And are the headlights pretty bright? I'm thinking of going with 5500k HID kit

the RGB demon eye would go inside of the projector. The projector will still work like normal even if you don't get the RGB demon eye. If you do get the RGB demon eye, then the projector will just be able to change different colors. But yes, the projector will always work as intended. The headlights are definitely bright. I went with the RX350 retrofit and 5500k HIDs. The adjustment takes a little fine tuning to get them just right

Does anyone know if the AB6 headlights work with the new 2020 LED headlights? Kustom54 said no but they sounded unsure about it though.

they will require a special harness at least due to the headlight connector but since we don’t have one we can test on, we can’t say they work
