Long story short, I recently purchased a set of KMC canyon719 wheels. One of the reasons I went with the KMC line is a "knurled beat seat" feature(as per website). I do air down, and honestly that was a deciding factor in my purchase of this specific wheel. Once they showed up, I opened the box to check em out and noticed no knurling. Smooth. I made contact with KMC directly and pointed this issue out. Apparently, none of their wheels will have knurling until later on in 2022, even though the website is advertising them.

Hopefully this saves you the $25 each wheel shipping and aggravation.

The SCS F5 wheels I picked up on the 01/06/22 drop now has the knurling. Looks nice, they mentioned in Sept or Oct they would transition all their wheels to it

Interesting. I wonder who else offers these features. I know method also has their bead grip tech.
