So I’m about to sign papers on a 2020 TRD pro Tacoma in white. Got them to throw in window tint and paint film protection. $46,089. Out the door.

port installed bed mat, 5” tube steps.

please tell me quick if I should walk away or do it!

They are notorious about not discounting the Pro..
So if you want the pro, you pay what they tell you to.

If you don't need the pro you could likely get a similar truck in an OR for $34K

So what’s the price of the truck before taxes and fees?

You haven't mentioned why you are buying Pro? Looks, OR capabilities etc.

Just saying, $12k goes a long way to adding accessories.

But some people pay top dollar for color.

Very few dealers have 2020 TRD PRO's here in SoCal - and more of those that do, are marking them up! SO, if you're getting a discount and you had them throw in some stuff, I'd call it a win. IMHO.

With the way options are set up this year, you can't even sniff an OR similarly equipped to a Pro for less than $42-43k

Very good point. My info was based on 2019, but i jus to helped a buddy buy a TRD OR and paid $36k. He had nice things mine didn't so I felt it was worth $2k more

Since you’re not buying a Pro only color I’d recommend buying a white offroad and upgrading the suspension and a couple of other parts and pocketing the rest.

If you are going for the Army Green I'd say go for it.

If you are buying black or white, find a 2019 heavily discounted. They are everywhere right now.

Or, go find the color you want in an OR.

I have the AG Pro and really love it.

I paid $46,934 for about the same thing you listed.

I have the OR ... Get the Pro!!!
I’m not sure how much you’d be pocketing ... unless you’re getting a killer deal on takeoffs ... it can still be costly. If you want to go with genuine OEM parts, The suspension alone is nearly 3k (new) and the wheels and center caps about 1K, Catback exhaust $700, Pro fogs $500, Skidplate $400, Headlights for 2K etc. Since they don’t make a pro in the longbed, I’m basically making my own “Semi-pro” with a combination of genuine new Toyota OEM parts and Pro takeoffs ... I’m still working on finding the scoop hood for mine.

    Solid points.

Many 19 PRO's are out there and many are giving huge discounts while supply lasts. AND, again, here in socal, the incentives are now included for the PRO. You can save thousands.....unless you really want the the 2020's new "options".

    Good luck!

    The 19 4runners had 0% interest incentive

    That sounds reasonable to me

When I bought my used 18' PRO, they did not want to budge on the price but they did give me more on my trade in so it worked out in the end. I went used to save money compared to buying a brand new one.

Used can be very good, if you find the right one.

18' Calvary Blue Tacoma PRO in Dallas for about 38k with 12k miles. Most I have seen around are 40k plus and with more miles. I think this is a good find. lol

Wish I would've seen that! Bought mine for $40k with 12k miles too. Mine came with a matching shell.

If it has 3 pedals, do it!

If not, find one that does

haha! Still a solid price if you got it for 40k and a matching shell.

CARMAX has a lot of these for 40k+ with more miles and no shell. lol You still did good.
