About to buy a 2020 TRD pro.

I’d love a 2019 discounted Pro, but my 2010 Sport refuses to give me one reason to replace it. Tacos are amazing trucks!

 

If its not to late, i would remove the paint protector asap. After 10 years or so your paint will have a definitive line where ot stops.

 

Amazing how these are keeping a high value. Blows my mind seeing 2nd gen taco's going for more than 30k. ( I wouldn't buy one, but still amazes me)

 

I would NOT remove it if it came from factory, but I would try to maintain it much better and then eventually take it off. But I wouldn't right away. Or PPF the whole front end.

 

It blows me away with what people consider a deal these days.
There is nothing on the road worth that kind of money.

Perhaps I don't know the full details behind this, but initially to me that looks more like the unprotected paint areas were neglected over the years (i.e. minimal waxing, etc.).

Except it wouldn’t be that similar. Would need to add leather, premium audio, replace lights, change shocks for lift and tune, new wheels.
I have a DCLB Off Road Premium Pkg and it is not $34k.

 

100% what it is. You ever wonder why classic muscle cars from the 60s with original paint last? They’re taken care of. I have an 08 that I only detail once or twice a year, but wash it monthly. I have a neighbor with a 12+ and his is starting to peel already. It’s never washed. Debri and sun are paint killers. Neglect

just picked mine up last weekend

for around town driving i put in S4 and it drives and shifts real nice

just remember, it's not a sports car

 

In my geography, they balloon up MSRP with port and dealer options and then sit on them forever. I have seen $46k TRD Limited, and $43k TRD OR, but in many cases, you can get them $5kbor more lower.

I could not get a PRO for even $1k less than their sticker which were $48k or more
