You don't pay CA taxes. Taxes are where it's registered, which WA sales tax.

I’m with you on the gas cap holder. I’m surprised they didn’t ditch the fuel cap altogether since many other manufacturers have.

Lol car sales tax where I live is 10.55%. I have to pay the difference once I register in state. As an out of state, CA charged me the lowest (7.25%).

For sure! My wife’s car has the cap less. Maybe 2024?

Plenty of gas cap holders an Amazon and the Meso gas hole. The glove box organizer and the center console tray have been great bang for the buck additions.

Offroam makes a decent phone mount, but it does block some of the vent and restricts a bit of usability. I dig mine, rock solid and OnX/Gaia right in view.

As for the radio knobs, order two of these Rav 4 knobs. Textured, backlit, and much more tactile. Less than 2 min to install.

Most of us slightly stretch the gas cap and insert the plastic "wire" into the fuel door clip. Seems to work great rather than having the gas cap swinging freely.

This. I wouldn’t even say it’s stretching the wire. I think it was designed for this. Works great.

Only issue is the door is slightly misbalanced, so it will flap onto the gas pump in the wind.

I actually like it better than my old Meso gasshole honestly. It’s just a little simpler design wise

To the Lunar Rock Pro checking me out just north of Central Point, OR, sweet ride!!

To the other Tacoma owners who appear to have some lingering validation issues, you don’t need to speed up on my ass in the slow lane then rev crazily past me. Your truck is cool, too, bro…

    Still love this thing.

Congrats on the new truck and pretty epic way to bring it home. Curious if you're altering your driving style to accommodate the break in?

For the first 350-400 I tried to be as diligent as possible. The CA traffic helped, too. The next 100-150 or so so far I’ve been less of a stickler mostly because I miss my kids and I’m hungry trying to get to where I want to eat lol.

Update - big bummer but got a rock chip on the passenger side of the windshield. Been trying to stay back of most vehicles but this just came out of nowhere. I’m assuming (hoping) this can be filled easily…about the size of a pencil eraser.

Same thing has happened to me on my last 2 new vehicles. Giant rock chip within the first 1000mi.

    :annoyed:
