About to Join the Club. Opinions?

I'm about to pick up a Red '08 DC LB 4x4 w/ 73,000 miles from a family friend for $19,000. It also has the TRD package. No accidents. Seems like a good deal based on my research on here, KBB, autotrader, etc. Any flags? I'm in SoCal. Thanks in advance!

 

Im not up on the used pricing, but that just seems like a lot for a truck with 73000 miles. I would want full service history. Have diff or tranny fluids been changed? Brakes, suspension components, alternator. At that mileage you are going to be replacing things like that. IMHO, I would just finance a new truck. DCs can be had brand new around $28k. Then you know you don't have to replace parts, and your finance rate should be a lot lower. Just my $.02

 

08 dc LB TRD for under $20k? Even with 73k miles. For a Tacoma, that's a steal. DO KIT! You won't regret it.

i just appraised a 2007 ac trd sport red w/ 65k 4x4 yesterday for 18k. they're going as high as 19500 @ the auctions. that's a great deal on the truck as long as it hasn't been smacked and it has been serviced regularly.
