Nice Truck! How does the trade-in work for Discount Tire? I've never heard of that

FWIW my Grabber at2's are load E, I run them at about 37 psi cold, they balanced pretty good, I've run them over 95 mph, very steady, no vibration. The grabber at2 245/75-16 is 44.4 lbs, the AT KO2 245/75-16 is also load E and is 48.8 lbs. I had At KO2's on an F150, they are a great tire, but the larger sizes on a smaller truck like the Tacoma will cost some mpgs and performance.

I have 265/75/16’s on mine. It is E load which is def overkill but saved a lot on the tire and was in a bind in anchorage. I was a little skeptical about the e load but I really don’t notice that much difference in ride quality. Dropped 1 mpg in town. As far as snow goes these tires are great. I live in Alaska and my drive to anchorage involves 2.5 hrs of mountainous highways. I really like these tires in the snow. As far as ice. Nothing is going to stop you better than a pair of studs. As far as off road these tires are excellent. I had a pair on my Tundra for a few years. Maybe not as good as some mud terrain or dedicated off road, but unless you want a set of tires for every occasion the Ko2 is what you could call a quiver killer:) good all in one if you don’t have the cash for all.

They might scrub on remote resi’s shock up front. Stock truck should be fine.

Thanks brother, I waited and saved a long time to drive that baby home. Since my OEM tires were new, Discount gave me $200 against my KO2 set. Yes, I could have sold them for more on craigslist or the such but I've got so much going on right now, I said screw it. I kept my OEM rims though, just in case..

Only ran Falkens when I was younger on a little Honda coupe. Terrible quality. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Falken known to be a cheaper quality tire company? That was the consensus when I had a couple buds managing Discount Tire/Big O. Is this a money thing?
