I have a 2012 4wd TRD Dbl cab with 50k miles. The ABS and Traction control lights randomly turn on and off not while braking, just randomly. It has been to the dealer three times now and the computer is not registering the code or codes since the light has never been on at the dealer. They have cleaned the sensor each time and claim there was debris on it, but the lights keep showing up. What should I do?

    Thanks

So should I get a code reader to help diagnose the error? Or is it going to say ABS error or Traction Control error? That much is obvious.

Did you figure this out? I have the same issue (2011 Tacoma) going on but my truck is not producing any trouble codes (at least none that my Ultragauge can see).

Not yet, the lights still randomly come on and off. Dealer can't seem to figure out why.

When the dealer replaced my r/f wheel bearing, the seal wasn't installed correctly and it was slinging grease on the sensor. They replaced the bearing, seal and sensor, and all is right in the world.
