I bought my 2018 Tacoma brand new with a 6” lift and after market tires. I put 5000 miles on it and the abs and traction control lights came on and now the 4x4 or cruise control don’t work everybody I have gone to does not know what is wrong with it. has anybody else had this problem??

Did the dealer install the lift?

    No codes?

Did they do the zero point recalibration when you had it aligned?

It came from Toyota with a 6” lift? What’s not adding up here. Do you have a warranty?

Sounds to me like they didn’t extend the ABS sensor cables when they lifted it and they are now pinched, disconnected, or shorted to the chassis.

Do you recommend anywhere I could take it to get this problem fixed because the dealership doesn’t even want to work on it because it’s lifted I bought it from auto solutions in Albuquerque

I would say you need to go to the people who lifted it. That’s likely where the trouble lies.

Your truck has four wheel position sensors attached to a signal cable connected to the ECU. They are used by the ABS system, the traction control system, and may affect the ability to shift into 4WD if the ECU can’t read the speed of one of the wheels. My guess is those cables or sensors are stretched or damaged, but I’m 1000 miles away from you so can’t be of much more help.

When you lift a brand new vehicle, this is your grief. We’ve all been through it. You gotta start with the shop that lifted it.

But the warranty should be transferable if it’s not associated with the work done to lift it. I dunno.....would that not be the case?
