Let me first say that I have cleaned both rear ABS brake sensors & pulled NO CODES when I checked this evening.

However my ABS dashboard brake light comes on, these are the facts:
    - The light stays on while I reverse out of my driveway
    - The light then turns off when I shift into 1st gear
    - The light will remain off if I stay below 2,000 RPM in 1st gear
    - If I shift into 2nd gear and stay below 2,000 RPM the light still comes on
    - The light does not shut off until I turn my truck off
    - If I turn my truck on while moving and shift into 2nd gear (going >10mph) the light will not turn on until I reach high 3rd gear or shift into low 4th gear.

I'm thinking a sensor has gone bad within one of my wheels... Let me know if you guys think a bad ABS brake sensor is the culprit or have any other ideas as to what my problem may be.
    THANK YOU!

and I will add that I have searched the forum for answers (faulty sensor, clean the sensors, bad wires, etc.) but I am wondering what your guys' opinions are about my situation

    Is it solid or flashing?

Mine flashes intermittently, it's caused by my OBD bluetooth dongle (scangauges and ultra gauges cause it as well)

    Two things come to mind.

    1. You are correct, a sensor is going out. Not sure if a Scangauge can read ABS sensor data or not. You may need an OBD diagnostic tool that reads ABS data. Look for the one sensor that is erratic, or off from the other 3.

    3. EMI from the ignition system can cause this as well. Check to make sure no engine harness or chassis harness pieces are too close to the ignition coil/wires.

Thanks Bill, I'll look into both of those
