Today on my way home from work my ABS light came on. I got home, turned the truck off, turned it on and the ABS light stayed off. This is the 3rd time this has happened. Anyone else have this problem?

Lots of choices, some easy, some not. Check the ABS sensor wires where they are exposed between where they leave the wire loom and reach the back of the wheel. They are hanging in the breeze, and I have had a couple over the years that were nicked or cut by road trash. If the wire has no guides, it can really flop in the wind and metal fatigue can cause it to break internally. Other things go from the simple to the bizarre. One wrong size tire or one very low in air pressure. I had a ranger where the magnetic ring came off the back of the hub and ABS went south.

I'd just do a visual inspection first to see if everything looks to be in place. There is one sensor on every corner of the vehicle. All are underneath the car and can be snagged when going off-road, or just hit by trash on the road.

Right on. I'll check the sensors. I checked them last time for a loose connection or loose wire and nothing. After it goes off it doesn't come back on for months. Might just be a loose connection.
