Both ABS and Traction Control lights (yellow) come on in the dash. Not every time I drive it, but usually once a day. If I go somewhere they might not come on or they might. But, it always both of them. Brakes function just fine and stop great. Nothing changes whether or not I push the actual traction button. I'm thinking a computer or sensor malfunction... does anyone really know the answer? Taking a trip later this week. Also, one other thing, although I don't think it is related. Twice now, I went to take it out of park and the shift lever wouldn't go all the way right to come out of park. Yes, my foot was on teh brake. Pumped the brake a couple times and wiggled the steering wheel and tried the lever a few times... then it worked. Anyone really know??? Yes, I know I can bring it to the dealer and just pay through the nose, I was hoping for some more first hand info here. It's a 2009, v6, sr5, prerunner, TRD sport access cab. THANK YOU.

Have your codes read at an auto parts store. It sounds like a sensor has gone bad. The traction control is linked to the abs and one sensor can cause both systems to malfunction. That is where I would start, and around here they scan for free.

Same issue here, wondering if I should take her in while she is under warranty.

Just had the same problem yesterday. Abs light on and traction control light on at the same time. Then I could not shift it from park. Found the problem last night it was a fuse in the fuse box under the hood. 2010 4.0 trd double cab.
