So I went to the overland expo last weekend and seen a 3rd gen tacoma that had his fenders cut and he had ABS plastic liners inside of his wheel wells. For the ones who have done this, how did you attach the ABS plastic inside of your fenders? Also, you can buy the plastic on Amazon but could anyone tell me the measurements you need to buy for the front and rear wells?

I did a search and found some info on the fenders but mostly was on the 2nd gen trucks and not to much info about how you attach them to the 3rd gen. Thanks.

I used fend-x front and back, but don’t recall them costing as much as they are listed now. I will say the material is really nice to work with. Much easier to shape/form than any ABS sheeting I’ve worked with in the past (mudflaps for previous truck, tailgate panel, sourced locally, 1/8” maybe?) while still being rigid. Mine are attached with a few of the self tapping screws that were holding on the oem liners.

No I'm taking about the liners for your wheel wells. Once you cut your fenders 2" for bigger tires you lose your liners

Right. Those four pictures are of fend-x liners installed.
Look at the link. They have an option for trimmed fenders and installation suggestions are listed on the thread about them here. They say they only need a couple of screws to hold them in. I mentioned how I attached mine, but you’d have to look at this thread for securing them with trimmed fenders
