Alright...so long story short I've read a bunch of threads on this topic and I couldn't really get a answer that made sense to me...so bottom line. 1. My abs light is on 70% of the time in my truck, comes on very randomly 2. I understand what abs is but what does it mean when the abs light is on your dash?
    3. While we're on the brake topic...should I be bleeding/ changing my brake fluid much more reguraly with 33 12.5 15 tires?
    4. Is it worth the swap (and is it possible) to do a tundra swap on my 15 x 8 rims, or would getting drilled and slotted rotors be a good idea to prevent warping but not really gain stopping power.
    5. Last one, I wanted smaller tires to prevent a little ware on my suspension so how wide of a rim do I need to get 33 10.5 16? What's the best width for light trails, country roads, and city driving.

ABS light on means there is a fault in the abs system. Without out knowing the code it's impossible to help you fix it.
How often do you change brake fluid?
Have to have 16's for tundra brakes. Some 16 still wont clear.

I bet the last time. Brake fluid was changed was probably atleast 10k ago with the previous owner.

Most likely a wheel speed sensor. Get the codes read.

Sorry for the hijack but what if the code reader says no abs found. Mine has been on since I got the truck 4 years ago

The blue tooth code readers usually wont do ABS. You'll have to have AutoZone read the code

I have 3 OBDII scanners, a Snap On Solus Pro V, one from UEI and a BlueDriver. My go to scanner is BlueDriver. It does ABS, how in depth, I do not know but probably good enough for basic scans. What I mean by "good enough" is that it will read the codes, it will not do anything else like cycle the pump for brake bleeding.

I can look it up tomorrow but i know you can get the lights to blink for a code with a paper clip.
