I recently had my driver side wheel bearing replaced by a friend of mine. Now, the ABS light is on. Does anybody have any idea what is going on? Can it be turned off? The ABS seems to be working just fine. HELP!

Black electrical tape over the light, problem solved! :D

Just kidding. I'm sure someone will have a legitimate fix.

    getting there....
may need to recheck where the sensor is plugged in. take the bolt out......pull the sensor and clean it withan electronics spray cleaner...then reinstall. have had a small piece of dirt/dust on the sensor.

+1 I did 5100's this weekend and now my ABS light is on. The only thing I can think of is that the ABS harness may have gotten pulled during the install and damaged a wire. Can anyone tell me if I pull the code, will it tell me which side has the fault?

i'm gonna try the cleaning method first. If that fails, I'm going with the electrical tape over light approach.

i had an issue with the abs light the other day. The wire actually broke. Take the plug lose at the wheel bearing and the plug on the other side of the wire ( on the inner fender) lose and check continuity...I had an open wire.
