    Hello TW-

Can anyone tell my how to identify whether my 1999 Tacoma 4x4 w 3.4 V6 has ABS or not? I've checked for an ABS light when u turn the key- don't really see one.

I need a new brake master cylinder, but there's one w ABS, and there's another without ABS. I do not know which to get yet

Any help and pics would be appreciated
    thank u

Is this under your hood on the passenger side?

It does look like you have aftermarket cruise control.

    Hey Jason-

I wuz wondering why u think the cruise control is aftermarket? Is it cause of that different color wire along the air intake? I dunno...

The cruise control for the Tacoma I think is OEM- it had some spotty activation, but then I replaced the clutch return spring to a linear spring, and then the cruise worked just fine after that.

Anyways, thanks for your help :)

Tacomas in certain yeras had either the Bosch or a Ford Cruise actuator.

Nope, it was optional in earlier years. I think it became standard in 2003 though.
