    I installed UCAs on my 2022 SR5 4x4 v6 longbed/doublecab.

Not being a mechanic or even mechanically inclined, I forgot to tie the spindle up with a bungee cord when disconnecting the OEM UCA on the driver side, causing it to fall off to the side and stretch my ABS sensor wire. There are no visible tears or anything, but apparently it tore internally because the VSC, ABS, and precollision system lights all came on.

I took it to the dealer, who confirmed the issue and informed me that I need a new LF wheel speed sensor wire. Apparently, though, the part is on national backorder, and they have no clue when they will be able to get one.

None of the local part stores have any that fit my truck. The dealer did not give me a part number, so it is hard to be sure when looking online.

In other words, I am coming up short in my search for an ABS wheel speed sensor wire for my truck. I would appreciate any help in the right direction (even a part number would help). Thanks

As long as the break isn't within the potted sensor, you should be able to find the break and splice it in while you wait for a replacement.

How would I go about finding it? I have examined it, and cannot find any obvious signs of breakage.

remove the harness and do a continuity test from the connector contacts to just before the body of the sensor using a very fine needle to pierce the insulation walking closer and closer to the connector until I have continuity. This would give you a good indication as to the location of the break. This is of course assuming this is a temp fix and you intend on replacing it when its available.

    FYI

Dealers want in the neighborhood of $230 for that little magnet.

I have had great luck with generics from eBay for like 2 for $16...

eBay also has wheel speed sensor wire harnesses at reasonable prices.
