Bought my crazy clean perfectly maintained garages kept 1st gen pre runner 8 years ago for 14k with 100k miles. That was steep but still worth it. Same truck today is 14k but add 300k miles of abuse and rust or add 10k on the asking price. It’s hard to believe really. Combine demand and overinflated new truck prices this is what we get.

It was $8,500 w all door jambs, glass off, new stickers on tailgate, emblems, and new windshield. Took a month to complete.

Yeah just saw a Toyota pickup from the 80’s to early 90’s sell on here for about 9k.

My 2003 got it in 2014 for 14k with around 140k.

The repaint doesn’t help the price, well that is if you’re shooting for maximum price. Geneva Illinois isn’t too far from me…

I paid 12,500 for my 99 2 owner 121,000 mile in January and 15,500 for my 01 2 owner 135,000 earlier this month. Prices are high here in TN.

Post us up some pics of these two trucks.
I paid 15k for my 03 DC Limited TRD in 2010 with 80k miles, and I was more than happy with my deal. This truck has never given me a problem, just the regular wear items and fluid changes.
