Long time lurker, first time lift! I am finally pulling the trigger on a lift for my 08 AC 4x4. I've decided to go with 5100s all around, progressive AAl and LR ucas. My biggest question is that in the next year i will have an aluminum front bumper without a winch, so what is the most recommended OME springs for an AC to get a full 3"? I have read the 885 w/top plates or 887s, just wondering if one option is better than the other, if one is rougher on the shocks, etc. Any input or suggestions on the springs or the overall lift plan are welcome!

Well the 887s supposedly get a double cab right around 3 inches. So an access cab with an extra 80(?)lbs would probably be right at about 3 inches I would think. On my DCSB my 887s have settled a bit, so they're probably at about 2.75 inches now.
