    Kenwood TM-D710G installed on 5/11.

The head unit has temporarily been affixed to the dash, and the body was temporarily attached to the MOLLE panel on the right side of the console.

OEM Audio Plus amp bracket installed under passenger seat on 5/17.

The Kenwood TM-D710G body was relocated from the MOLLE panel on the right side of the center console to the OEM Audio Plus amp bracket, using the Kenwood PG-5F extension kit.

Original pics from the person who sold me the bracket:

My seat had much more wiring than is pictured here.

I recommend this bracket for mounting transceivers. It also should be easy to fabricate something similar that would do the job. Seems that with some thought I could mount 2 transceivers on it.

SwitchPros 9100 assembly installed on 6/3.
    ...
Completely reworked this solution to simplify it and allow it to clear the harness and hood latch cable at the bottom and the hydraulic fluid hose from the common reservoir to the clutch master cylinder on 6/9.

I put a piece of 3/8" fuel line behind the SDHQ plate to pitch it downward more so the SP9100 would sit more vertically. The plan is to shove a dowel into the hose so it has less give in order to pitch the bottom of the SDHQ plate even closer to the fender. This should give greater clearance between the plate and the harness and hood latch cable. Currently, it is clearing both by a couple of millimeters.

The Channel 7 and Channel 8 wires from the SP9100 harness still can make contact with the hydraulic fluid hose, so I put a piece 1" of wire management plastic over it for protection.

    ETA:
The crushed piece of fuel line behind the SDQH plate was replaced with another piece of fuel line into which a 1/4" steel rod was inserted. This increased the angle, moving the bottom of the plate to the left of the harness on 6/10.

    Other benefits:
    • Any water flowing off of that plastic on the inside of the fender in the engine bay will run _behind_ the SDHQ plate.
    • This could help mitigate water ingress via the wires on the proprietary connections on the SP9100.
    • The plugs inserted into the SP9100 are pitched slighty downward.
    • The Channel 7 and 8 wires are pulled a few more millimeters from the hydraulic hose feeding the clutch master cylinder.

I like this solution because the dash trim piece can be removed without removing the accessory mount.
