I have a 2013 and I've replaced the AC ray and sensor card twice. Both times I got the parts from Amazon/eBay. Now the AC isn't working on speed 3.

    1. Does anyone have a solid source for replacement parts?

    2. Is there a blower motor that will push out more air than the OEM one? If so, can you share a link?

I would be interested in this as well. I think I have replaced my sensor card 4 times now. I'm not sure but is does seem like my 2009 TRD does not have the same airspeed as it did when it was just a baby!!

What is Ray and sensor card

my truck came with a new resistor
That being said it was a beck arnley and years ago. So I probably need to do it again if it’s not the updated one. Wiring looks fine.

    speed adjustment works.

I’m tired of the stock paper filter collapsing under a dust particle, and clogging faster than a year. So I plan to go K&N washable. Key Rei said it flows better.

Got some other issues. Clicking from dash. Not as cold as I’d like it to be. R134a is within spec. Condenser was cleaned but dirty again.
    Some bent fins.

kinda wanna put CSF aluminum radiator, CSF condenser while I’m in there. New bushings. Maybe throw a compressor and alternator at it once I figure out what a good alternator is stock or upgraded. Maybe thicker gauge wiring.

to make sure voltage is good and compressor is good. I do NOT want the stock one to blow and ruin the system with contamination by trying to save $50 by doing just a clutch. Which is still labor.

I have to pull the compressor anyway to get to the serpentine tensioner to refresh it with new. That’s the only thing of my front service pulley kit I didn’t do because of that.

I wonder if the wires should be done pre emptively or only when they’re visibly burned after the fact.

don’t want to spend money shit ain’t cheap. But it would make the truck somewhat new.
And still probably much cheaper than just ignoring things and letting them break.

idk if there’s two different versions of condenser. If one had a replaceable desiccant tube and the other version is non replaceable. Which probably doesn’t matter. I’ll probably trust whatever the CSF comes as that I imagine is replaceable. That you only really do if a compressor blows and do a flush after which nobody has equipment for anyway, making replace compressor ahead of time sound good.

and that’s before even looking at any difficult shit like dash, plastic box inside, doors, actuators, evaporator…

why not start with cheap easy stuff first take it one at a time
