AC blower connector getting very hot

Hope someone can help me. AC blower worked only on high and then went out. I replaced the resistor and wiring harness and noticed the connector at the blower motor is very hot and when I touched it, it seemed a little loose and noticed it will stop the blower in certain positions. so right now blower works on all speeds but I'm afraid it will fry the new reisistor if I leave it in. So I disconnected the resistor harness and blower works on high only, but the wire from the bottom of the blower is still getting very hot, not sure if I need to replace the blower motor or if I can somehow get a new connector. Please help
