Any one had problems with ac blowing cold only from drivers vent ? Other vents blow warm. Seen couple post one said he recharged ac and works good now .Drivers vent was 48degrees and clutch not cycling on and off so think freon ok.
Extended warranty expires in couple months so guess will take it in . Wanted to see if might be a vent door or some thing before I take it in.

No freon. Mines was like that, then started seeing fog coming from vents, then no cold air at all.

most likely low refrigerant and leaking evaporator. pretty common on the 05- up tacomas/4runners

Good to know . What threw me off is clutch not cycling like low freon . Damn servco got 1 month wait for open appointment. Hope ac doesn't crap out completely...lol But then again might be good they can change more things under warranty. Thanks

Have you tried contacting the other Servco Toyota service departments? They might be able to get you in quicker.

If it does get worse, I would contact Waipahu or even Windward. Usually a quicker option.

That's what drives me nuts about servco. They wanted me to wait 1 month to fix a nail in my tire. Said I had to bring in the vehicle not just the tire, and I could leave the truck and they would fix it "if they had time"

A/C Compressor clutch not cycling is not a normal condition. If it's not coming on at all, it could mean low freon. If it's staying on, something else. But normally, it should cycle.

    That sucks ass.

I just assumed that warranty work was money, maybe even better money if its all insured. Or maybe that's just extended warranties.

As far as ac cycling I monitored for like a minute or two not very long. When driving cannot really tell. Thinking maybe compressor starting to crap out plugging evap or filter .
Heard on warranty work dealers don't get as much money as if wasn't warranty.

think they do work at a set rate(which is less than standard hourly) but paid by the warranty money pot from manufacturer.

say if they have a bay of 10 lifts, they might keep 1 for warranty stuff, which could explain the month wait.
