hey guys, lately I’ve been hearing this terribly loud front end rattle. I finally tracked it down to the ac compressor seems to click and rattle when I go over bumps/slight inconsistencies in the road/etc. not like the compressor itself is bad, but maybe mounts or something. Anyone have this problem?? Where are the mounting bolts/brackets that I can try and tighten? It’s pretty hard to see in there

Probably a worn clutch and pulley.

Would that make it so there’s only a clicking noise when hitting small bumps? It doesn’t do it at idle and usually only once I’ve let off the gas... which makes me believe that it doesn’t happen while accelerating because there’s load on the pulley.

I have a crazy rattle behind my glove compartment when the heater is turned on. Only happens when I'm blowing heat and not
    during cold a/c.

I have no way to know that or not. I was only using your statement that you have it narrowed down to the AC Compressor.

You should be able to grab the mounting with your hands an verify if they are loose or not.

The most probable rattling noise from the AC Compressor would be a clutch pulley issue.
