Deleted balance shafts, deleted EGR. Aftermarket headers and wrap, regeared to 410's. Added 3/4 bucket seats, and single pane beer window (I don't drink) I added a Slightly hidden winch mount, and 9500lb smitty winch. I added a dorkel, and "waterproofed" and sealed it, along with raising all differential breathers. I added cheapy light bar as well.
Im brand new to forums. I am trying this out to see how it goes. I've heard there are some smart people on here. Anyways. I have a 97 tacoma 2.7.

Recently my ac started blowin cool air then warm air. I tried fillin it up with 134a and saw that it was constantly low pressure on the low side. I over filled and caused the compressor to short cycle. I took it in to have the system emptied. The low pressure was 10psi. I replaced the TXV and seemed to fix the pressure issue. I replaced what looked like a filter drier in the line on the front by the driverside headlight. I read you should put oil in it. But no further instruction I put oil in both holes. Anyways I went threw it on vacuum and tested for leaks. Seemed good after 15 min. Filled the ac with 1.24 lbs of 134a and the pressures were around 40psi low and 300+ on high. The outside temp was 95-100⁰ F I should say the 1.24 may have been way off due to many variables. So I may need to redo what I've done. The internal temp of air coming out of my vents was 60⁰F sitting and did drop to 50 or 48 when driving on the free way. But as soon I parked or sat it was around 60⁰ I Will continue to fart around with it today. Other possible important info. There is a small white porcelain cube in the condensor box. The top broke off. What is that? A temp sensor? I pulled the coil out and cleand out all the dust dirt hair leaves and fuzz.

Thanks for any advice or pointers

So it seems like it's cold while you are moving (rpms higher) and then when the engine speed slows down it warms up? Almost sounds like a compressor clutch on it's way out.

Condensor is in front of the radiator. Do you mean the evaporator box?

Cooler moving, warmer idling points to restricted condenser airflow and/or an inadequate cooling fan working.

Make sure your fins of radiator and condenser both are cleaned. Blast with water from engine bay forward.

It may not help, but its free to try.
