AC grinding noise?

    Just curious, anyone happen to run into any noise issues with the actual AC compressor making grinding noises?

    It takes a few days of sitting, but I'll start the truck > let it run for a moment > then turn on the AC > when I do it really lugs the engine (more then normal) and makes a bit of a grinding noise.
    Once things have been running you can't re-create the issue, or if it's driven daily.

    I'm going to try and re-create it here in a few days, but man is it random and odd.
    It's also obvious enough a non car person would notice it.
