I’ve got a 2003 base cab Tacoma. The AC/Heater accurator needs replacing. Can it be gotten to by removing the glove compartment or will the dash bezel need removing? The mode control works fine, AC too.

    Need to describe your issue

might not be HVAC control panel

most likely an actuator (electrical motor that controls a flap in reference to air direction in the system)

If members here know what the problem is, we can direct you to the “area” to find/replace

dang, been long weekend, I can’t think of the term to search for here
    Something like ___ door

    TG I have cables

The usual symptoms of a failed acuator unit, verified by the symptoms. Clicking, bird chirps, old adding machine sound. It continued to work until it recently made a loud low buzzing sound that eventually stopped. It now no longer allows heat. It’s freaking kaput, trust me.
