Hi guys and gals, I have a 2013 and am having issues with may AC/Heater fan. Basically the issue is the fan wont turn on unless its on HI. It does not matter if it is on AC or heat or any other setting. But when its on HI it works fine.

My two thoughts are a bad fuse or a bad relay. My question is which is the correct fuse and relay for the AC fan?

I looked in the fuse box and checked a few but did not see one labeled fan.

    Thoughts? Thank you.

Likely the blower motor resistor. Also if/when you replace the resistor replace the pigtail with the aftermarket one with thicker wires....use as much of the thicker wire as you can.

You guys nailed it, it was the resistor 100%. I have a new one on order and should get it tomorrow.

Also the back bolt is a huge PITA to get out, lol.

    Thank you for the help!!

    That will probably work fine.
But that isn’t the updated one.
I’ve not seen the updated resistor and connector sold as a package.
So you may have to buy them separately. That is if you want the updated parts?

The ones you linked will probably be fine though.

The updated parts are in the link below.

Thanks for the help, picked up parts from the dealer. From the videos it looks like we’re on the third or fourth version of harness/resistor combination so splicing the harness is the slowest part of the task. Replaced cabin air filter while I was in there…shame on me. IMG_4074.jpg
