AC lockable gun storage ideas

I can’t find anything. Anyone have leads or even custom built lockable rifle box idea for 3rd gen access cabs?

my truck has the utility pack so I have rear floor storage that fits my 12 ga/556 rifle perfectly. Issue is it’s not lockable. Looking for options. Change the lock mechanism? Order a metal lid? I plan on building a shelf that goes over and hides the cubby but still need it to be lockable for liability reasons.

Someone went on a robbery/burgulary/arson spree yesterday. Nobody hurt but a lotta damage done. The police have proven useless. I just wanna protect myself and my CCL won’t get approved for another 8 months.

I’m sure the locks can be easily picked but it will stop someone looking for an easy steal.
