It seems my max cooling function is not working like it did. It's still cooling at 41° each fan speed is working but when I put on max cool there is no difference in air flow. I replaced the resistor, no change, I can see the blend door/recirc. Is operating. Should I replace the blower at this point?

Just changed last month. It could be my imagination, I think it used to blow a little harder in the past. Everything seems to be working.

I don’t believe there will be any difference in air flow. It just recircs the indoor air. Max cooling you can expect is no more than 30° from ambient.

The fan doesn't blow any harder on Max Cool than it does in any other speed. The only thing max cool does is force the recirculate mode.

If you'd like it colder, you can install an inline isolation valve for the heater core lines, this will help cut off some of the hot coolant that is sent to the HVAC blower area. I did this on my Ford and you'll gain a few degrees of cooler temp. I have the valve switched closed using vacuum signal on max AC function.

Since toyota doesn't use vacuum, you may add a voltage sensing relay to energize a solenoid valve with a pickup close to 13V, since the recirc you will expect 13.0 to 13.5V in max cool position at AMSW terminal.

Thanks for the info. I am getting 41° at the vents. It's just been so hot a humid these days I guess it's taking more effort to cool the cabin. Thank all of for your input. God bless.
