After work on a 100 degree day I found my fan for the ac would only work on high, I went on the Tacoma World site and after reading several issues that everyone had from resistors to the motor and faulty wire harness connectors, I decided to try cleaning the female and male pins. This has worked so far thanks. The only cost to me was my time.

High speed is direct b+ from battery every other speed goes threw the resistor. The only other possibility would be the switch. The switch you remove from the electrical connector and jump the terminals the repair manual tells you to jump. If the fan operates when the switch is jumped then the switch is the culprit.
