AC not performing well while stopped in my 2018 OR

    You know, for what it's worth, I bought this truck to go out wheeling on the weekends, with my son. And a lot of that time is spent at low speeds, over rocky trails, without much airflow to the front of the truck. I took out my 1st gen truck all the time, year round, on the same trails, and never had any issues. It takes away from the experience if the truck is blowing warm air at us the whole time.

    I'm happy for you if you're satisfied with your truck's AC performance.

    man I have to say, the AC on this truck is hella cold. Way too cold. I've never turned pass the 1st level. Crazy

    mine blows ICE cold on the 1st setting and have to adjust the thermostat down in order not to freeze, are you overweight? most people with extra flab on their bodies require more AC to keep the body cool more so than people who aren't overweight, its just a scientific fact, more body mass(flab) requires more cooling to stay comfortable.

    Yep, I'm huge, but I've been working on it. Thanks again for nothing. Pretty sure the air I feel coming out of the vents with my fat chubby hands has nothing to do with my weight, and everything to do with the lack of cold air coming out of them.

    I'm also pretty sure I'm not the largest Tacoma owner out there, but I might be... Ass.

    Ya were did that asshole come from. I was in 2015 , 259 lbs (mass) 35” waist bench 405 ( not flabby) and I was hot (body temp) now yes when I was 180lbs I didn’t overheat as much but that has nothing to do with how cool the Tacoma ac blow. Ppl like that who make neutral “scientific facts” offensive comments need a good - mass vs less mass- hands on demonstration on how keep his mouth shut. That’s just someone being a dickhead trying to be funny bro.

    I just realized today that my wife's 2014 TOYOTA Camry must be full of skinny mirrors 'cause her AC was ice cold today while I was driving around at 109 outside. Or maybe the AC in my truck just doesn't work as good as hers?
