I have a 2015 Tacoma that I purchased with about 20,000 miles in 2016. After the warranty expired many miles later, my ac light would start blinking and air would not be cool anymore. When this happens I usually turn it off immediately, wait a minute and turn the ac back on. Then it works again. Air is cold.
This has gone on for a few years. I replaced a fuse or relay switch once thinking that was the problem. But did not help. It also seems to happen more frequently when it’s really hot outside, when I first get in the truck and start the ac, or if I turn the fan on low instead of high.
It always works again if I simply turn it off for a minute, makes sure it’s on high, and sometimes it may happen a couple of times before it remains cold.
Anyone have a solution or idea what the problem may be??
Again, it continues to work, but just annoying!

    thanks!!!
