Hey everyone, I recieved some frustrating news the other day .The AC in my 2016 Tacoma quit on me. When I took the truck in to get serviced by Toyota they told me I needed a new ac clutch and compressor; the reason, "dust and dirt in the AC housing restricted the clutch and compressor". DUST AND DIRT! and they wanted $2100 to replace the parts because dust and dirt . On a truck less than 4 years old, is 99% highway driven, and is a TRD model, and dust and dirt is going to cost me $2100. Does anyone else think this is obserd?!

I would take it to my local mechanic. I know damn well he would not bend me over and dry rod me like a Toyota dealership would.
