    hello guys. i hope u can help me, i have a 2008 Tacoma 4 door 29K when i turn on my a/c , MY RPM INCREASE AND THE TRUCK JUMPS LITTLE BIT EVEN IF I HAVE THE BREAK ON THANK U A HOPE U GUYS HELP ME

    crap bolted and welded together....
    its normal... no worries. Its the way the truck works like most other cars.

    Like the snowgod says, it's the idle-up kicking in. Presumably to counteract the additional drag caused by the AC compressor.

    What if your truck doesn't kick up the idle when you turn on the AC or defroster? Is there a good way to tell if its working? Because my defroster doesn't seem to work worth a crap and the idle never changes with or without the AC.
