So just yesterday I noticed that it was taking my truck a LONG time to cool off after sitting in 80+ degree weather while at work. I noticed that the air moving from driver to passenger was getting warmer at each vent until the far passenger one was basically the air temp outside. It also seemed like there was a hissing/blowing sound in my far driver side(the one still cold) that sounded like there was a straw deep in the vent having air pushed through it. So I searched through the forums here and checked the blend door. It still moves and operates as should so I am suspecting it to be a freon leak somewhere. Is there a more common place that it leaks and is it something that can be seen visually? I will definitely have to bring it somewhere because I have never touched A/C before and would most definitely f*** something up if I did it. I would just like to say the definite problem before I bring it in somewhere and have them try to run me through the ringer. TIA

That’s a classic sign of Low Refrigerant in these trucks.

That would be my guess. Low Refrigerant.

I had the same issue last yr. It ended up being a small leak in the condenser. You could get lucky and it could be just a o ring.

Agree with the above I had the same issue a few years back... Fix the leak evacuate and recharge the system.
